It is an annual conference that started November 2017, designed to foster sound entrepreneurial practices amongst event professionals and has made remarkable progress over the past 8 years.

Meet the Convener
Bisi Sotunde is the convener of the BusyBee Event Business Summit, one of Africa’s largest conferences established since 2017 to foster sound entrepreneurial practices amongst event professionals.
She is an Award winning International Events Planner, thought leader
and Influencer. She sits at the helm of affairs as the Managing Director of BusyBee Events, a leading destination events management company based in Lagos, Nigeria
BusyBee Events’s expertise lies in curating bespoke destination events, from weddings to milestone celebrations to meetings, conferences and exhibitions, etc.
The brand has stood to be a force to reckon with in the Nigerian Events industry, having successfully planned and managed several high-profile events for over 15 years.
It prides itself on the unrivalled personal event services it provides to its clientele.
When Bisi is not planning events, she is travelling and exploring the beautiful cities in the world.
Bisi has represented Nigeria/Africa, in numerous wedding conferences and
leadership retreats,one of which was an all expense paid trip to the Abu Dhabi Wedding Show held in September 2023, an initiative of the Abu Dhabi Convention and Exhibition Bureau
In January 2023, Bisi led a team of 20 Nigerian Destination Wedding Planners to an all expense paid trip for the Dubai Global Wedding Excellence Retreat(GWE), an initiative of the Dubai Economy and Tourism.
Bisi Sotunde has clinched several awards to her name for her impact and contributions to the growth of the wedding industry such as; Event Planner of the Year 2023, Top 30 Female Leaders who have shaped the Nigerian Event Industry amongst other international recognitions.
She leads the Well Watered Garden Tribe Nation(WWGT), a thriving community that promotes collaborations, networking and business support, this community has an active membership of over 350 event professionals cut across Nigeria and Diaspora
